『 Global ATGS News  |  Field Visits in Nantou - CH Biotech R & D Co., LTD. 』

In the end of the Fall semester of Academic Year 2021/2022, all students of Global ATGS visited CH Biotech R & D Co., LTD in Nantou, which is the company with world-class innovator in the agricultural biotechnology market.

As the issue of climate change, particularly global warming is becoming a major concern of people worldwide. Moreover, associated with global warming are other changes in the climate system, including changes in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather, also the disorders in plant growth.

In order to face this issue, CH Biotech's R & D center covers all stages of plant development from seed to crop, with taking several necessary factors into full consideration, they develop new agricultural biotechnological products that can promote plant growth and be friendly to human and environment.

During our field trip, there are several researchers to give us the introduction of the global research center in CH Biotech, for introducing of how they commit to innovate agricultural biotech products, provide internationally-certified lab data, and improve the production and quality of crops around the world.

The researchers also introduce the world-class greenhouse in CH Biotech, it's a greenhouse with unrivaled specifications in Taiwan. The design incorporates a series of conditions specific to a given target area, including weather conditions, geologic factors, crop types, and research needs.

After this field trip to Nantou, we deeply realized the importance of innovating the technologies in agricultural biotechnology. And for CH Biotech, they see it as a mission to make a difference and bring about positive changes to Taiwan!

All students enjoyed and learned a lot of new things through this field trip to Nantou！
