『 Global ATGS News | Student workshop 』

Global ATGS program is a cross- and interdisciplinary program and aims to train international talent in emerging agricultural biotechnologies and smart agriculture. The field structure is mainly focused on "Digital Agriculture Science and Technology" and "Genomic Science and Breeding Technology", so as the students' research fields.

We provide students with an opportunity to present their progress reports in a yearly workshop. Any students of the program are required to attend; and are encouraged to make a presentation in a formal style.

It is expected that the students will learn how to make a presentation, and understand the research activities of other students. This workshop will also be an excellent opportunity to present our activities to those outside this program.

In the workshop this time, we have topics on Pattern-triggered immunity (PTI) and induced systemic resistance (ISR), Near Infrared Imaging, Treatments to Reduce Microbial Risks, Sensory quality characteristics of beef steak, UAV-based photogrammetry.

This student workshop gave all the participants to know each other's topic and research field.
