『 Global ATGS News | Int'l College New Vision Lecture Series_Dr. Kousuke Hanada 』
At the end of this year, our Int'l College held several lecture series to enhance our students' connections with the topic of Sustainable Development and Technology Foresight.
For our Global ATGS program, we invited three sophisticated scholars/ professors to deliver their experiences and the modern trends in the above topics.
We had Prof. Eiji Nawata who came from Japan on Nov. 17th, this time we have 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. 𝑲𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒖𝒌𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒅𝒂 also from japan, who currently works in the Department of Bioscience and Bioinformatics, Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan.
This time, he shared the topic of "Identification of genes and signaling pathways inferred by plant omics data." and shared his experience of understanding the molecular mechanism of living organisms based on a large scale of genomic data.
We had a lot of participants from a similar background in plant genome analysis / Molecular Biology, etc,. Apparently, Prof. Hanada's lecture and experiences set off an animated discussion in the academic field. And this is definitely the purpose of our department/ College for holding this New Vision Lecture Series!!
