Dec. 01, 2022
At the end of this year, our Int'l College held several lecture series to enhance our students' connections with the topic of Sustainable Development and Technology Foresight.
For our Global ATGS program, we invited three sophisticated scholars/ professors to deliver their experiences and the modern trends in the above topics.
We had Prof. Eiji Nawata and Prof. Kousuke Hanada who came from Japan on Nov. 17th and 23rd, this time, we have Prof. Uri Marchaim who's the head of the Precision Agriculture Department at MIGAL - Galilee Research Institute, Israel.
This time, he shared the topic of "Precision livestock farming as related to environmental protection as sustainability." In the last 40 years, Prof. Marchaim performed research on anaerobic digestion of organic wastes, wastewater treatment, composting organic materials, examining the effect of pathogens and hazards to the environment, and in many ecological and waste utilization projects.
Prof. Marchaim's lecture and experiences let all participants gain plenty of new ideas among PLF. And this is definitely the purpose of our department/ College for holding this New Vision Lecture Series!!
